Our Ethos
Bespoke Garden Retreat was formed after building our own retreat. The enjoyment gained from our summerhouse, which we use as a family space to relax in and also to socialise with friends, has transformed the use of our garden. This has generated a whole new area in which to entertain, beyond our own home and provided us with a unique and alternative lifestyle.
Our ethos is to give the customer the same pleasure and pride that we have, in their retreat and whilst doing so maximise the use of that currently untapped part of your garden.
Is there a charge for a site survey and estimate.
No, we offer a free site visit to discuss your project and then provide a free estimate.

Do I need planning
For the majority of garden buildings no planning application is required. During our initial site survey we will explain the criteria set out by your local council.

Is there a price list
Every job we build is, as the name suggests "Bespoke" so your price will be determined on the specification you want.
These may include double glazing, insulation, pitched or flat roof, hardwood or vinyl flooring, a smooth plaster finish to the interior, a range of different timbers and designs or a triangular or round building! The choice is yours.
The cost will be worked out individually for you.
We can work to your budget, by adapting the design and specification to suit your requirements.
How long will the build take
Most jobs take four weeks to build. This will give you the finished building, sealed and water tight.
The interior, if this is part of the contract can then begin.
If the design is of a complex nature, this will take a little longer.
When we provide you with a quote we will give the time scale for the project, so that you know from the start exactly how long it will take.
